How to find the Theatre and RLT Quarters
The Rockville Civic Center, which includes the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, the Glenview Mansion and Cottage, as well as RLT “Quarters” (our build and rehearsal space) is located at
603 Edmonston Drive
Rockville, MD 20851
Parking is located both behind the theatre (to the right) and across from the Glenview Mansion (to the left).
From I-270
Northbound: Take Exit 6A (MD 28) and turn right.
Southbound: Take Exit 6 (MD 28) and turn left.
Continue east on MD 28 for approximately 2 miles. Follow the signs for Veirs Mill Road as you cross Rockville Pike (MD 355). Continue across the bridge and turn left at the first traffic light to continue east on MD 28 (First Street). Turn right at the next traffic light on Baltimore Road. Turn left at the next stop sign on Edmonston Drive and make an immediate right turn in to the Rockville Civic Center property.
From Bethesda via Rockville Pike
Travel north on MD 355 (Rockville Pike) past Wintergreen Plaza. Turn right on First Street (signs will say “TO MD 28 EAST”). Continue under the railroad tracks. Turn right at the second traffic light at Baltimore Road. Turn left at the next stop sign on Edmonston Drive and make an immediate right turn in to the Rockville Civic Center property.
From Wheaton and points east via Veirs Mill Road
Travel west on MD 586 (Veirs Mill Road) toward Rockville. Pass the Twinbrook Shopping Center. Turn right at the traffic light at Edmonston Drive. Follow past Baltimore Road and make the next right into the Rockville Civic Center property.
From Olney and Leisure World via Norbeck Road
Travel west on MD 28 (Norbeck Road) toward Rockville. Pass the traffic light at Gude Drive. Turn left at the next traffic light at Baltimore Road. Turn left at the next stop sign on Edmonston Drive and make an immediate right turn in to the Rockville Civic Center property.
Some auditions and other events are held at the Glenview Mansion Cottage. Park in the parking area to the left, walk up the stairs and across the road in front of the mansion, and continue to the right.
RLT’s primary construction and rehearsal space (“Quarters”) is in the maintenance area to the rear of the Civic Center property. Continue past the mansion and down the hill. Just before the tennis courts on the right, turn left into the maintenance yard and follow the driveway to the left inside the gate. RLT’s space is the last door in the last building on your right.
