Sixteen years ago, Caroline Crale was found guilty of murdering her husband Amyas. Before she died, she wrote a letter to their daughter Carla, saying that she was innocent. Now, Carla is about to be married, and wants to go back to discover what really happened and who really killed her father. Carla gathers the people present at the time of the crime and recreates the events of that fatal day, discovering what really happened and whodunnit.
